As we know, we were instructed by God to begin an 18 weeks marathon online evangelism project. This meant using paid online advert campaigns on Facebook to reach the world with the gospel. Each week we are to boost a new video proclaiming God's love and grace.
Our video for the first week was rejected by Facebook was rejected on the grounds that its descriptive text was too personal. I made some adjustments and resubmitted them for approval. This time the Advert was rejected for 'offering a before and after promise that may cause unclear/undesired results'.
Even before I saw the reason for the second rejection, I brought up the challenge we were having as a prayer point at one of our daily hour of prayers for ministers. We declared that despite Facebook policies, our Advert was going to get approved.
The next day, I resubmitted the Advert and it was rejected again. This time it was made clear that it was the video itself that violated their policies. I contemplated changing the video, but I reminded myself that it was God that gave the instruction to start the campaign and that He gave me the content of the video. I also recalled our prayer about the video getting accepted despite any violations. I was not going to give up on my faith because of some opposition.
I resubmitted the video again without making any adjustments and within two hours it was approved. Even more amazing was the fact that within less than twenty minutes of running, of the fifteen people that saw the video, ten of them played it.
I give all the glory to God for the gift of His faith. Indeed persistent faith produces amazing results.
