1 Corinthians 2: 12, Colossians 4: 12
12. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God; …that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God
Growing in perfection is the heart-beat of the Father for His people at this present time. However, it is impossible to grow in perfection without a complete understanding of what the Father's will is.
Now we know the will of the Father can only be found in the Holy Scriptures.
Our study sessions offer you the pleasure of going through the scriptures; from the book of Genesis to Revelation. However, unlike other Bible reading plans, we encourage studying the bible, rather than just reading it.
Basically, this is how it works :
1. Each week, a passage of scripture is shared here. The passage focus for each period shall be very short and easy to read/study within seven (7) days. This is because the main aim is not to run through the bible within a short period of time but rather to learn via personal study unto perfection.
2. In order to enhance purposeful reading, the scripture focus shall be accompanied by study guidelines, and meditation-provoking questions among other study-enhancing materials.
The Bible study is basically a week-long discussion of a given passage of scripture, so feel free to share your views, ask questions, etc. as desired.
3. Once we are done studying the given passage of focus, we can share what we learned without having to wait for our Bible Study Service.
4. If we have any questions based on what we read, feel free to post them here for discussion
5. To encourage everyone to study, everyone is expected to share their findings irrespective of how similar they may be to what has been shared by others
6. During each Bible Study Service, tips for effective study of the Word shall be given and a new passage of focus shared.
